Our private messaging system allows users to send private messages to any other user on the site. Our system is simple and works exactly like other private messaging systems features on other sites such as MySpace or a user forum you belong to. Each user will have an inbox, message archive, trash can, and block list.

Each user can block other users, archive messages so they won't be auto-deleted, as well as change notification settings. Every user is also limited to 200 active messages. An active message is a message located in either a users inbox or a users archive. This means that both a users inbox and archive use the same message limit (EG: 150 inbox messages and 50 archived messages). When a user blocks another user, the blocked user is NEVER notified that he or she has been blocked. The blockes user also never receives a notification that their message was not received by the blocker. As far as the blocked user knows, you are reading their messages and simply aren't replying back. This will give our users the maximum ammount of privacy possible when it comes to interacting with other users.
