The website staff at Game Initiation would like to welcome you to our site. These pages are here to introduce people to our site, its open community and its easy to follow rules. Any terms, conditions and rules we have will be listed here for people to review and consider when viewing our site. Here at Game Initiation we want our users to feel welcome, equal, safe and secure. To do this we will enforce our terms and conditions whenever neccessary in order to keep our site fun, safe and user friendly. Because of this, we ask all our guests and registered users to review any rules and other terms and conditions carefully. We don't want a good respectful user on our site to loose any privaledges or account access because of a misunderstanding.
Our History - What Is Game Initiation?
Game Initiation is a website created by Ethan (AKA: Esteem, GI_Ethan) and first appeared on the net in 2005 as a Video Game information and news weblog. In 2006 Ethan decided to shut down Game Initiation as he no longer had time to write new blogs due to being hired for a 2nd job. Between 2006 and 2007 Ethan started to get back into paintballing, more specifically Mil-Sim woodsball style paintball. In february 2007, after becoming highly interested in RAM's (Real Action Markers), Ethan decided to register as a dealer with RAP4 to earn some extra "fun money" (ranging from ordering a pizza to going out with friends) and fund donations for Healing the Children, an organization Ethan and his family became a part of to help kids come to the U.S. and receive free health care. In September 2007, Ethan decided to create a website that will offer users a great place to discuss paintball and airsoft and also purchase RAP4 direct products at a lower cost. This will provide paintball and airsoft players with a place to find others who enjoy these great sports, and at the same time, spend less on quality RAP4 products allowing them to enjoy the game(s) they love longer. This new Game Initiation website was finished and published on March 7th, 2008. It is important to note that Game Initiation is not a company, but simply the name of the website and group of people that help run it.
Game Initiation is known to be honest, straight forward and timely when it comes to dealing RAP4 products. Because of this, Game Initiation is known to be the #2 source for RAP4 products (RAP4.com being #1). Even after over 250 eBay orders and 150 other orders, ranging from small to bulk, not one customer has encountered a problem that was not handled quickly and correctly. Game Initiation has a 100% positive feedback rating on eBay as well as other sites such as RAP4.com, Mil-Sim Empire and other paintball forums.
Due to the success and good reputation Ethan has aquired, 3 well known paintball community members have decided to help him run Game Initiation. These members are Jovaec; a well known member at RAP4.com, Muttly; an even more well known and respected member of RAP4.com as well as an official moderator of Mil-Sim Empire, and Militarysims; a well known and respected moderator at RAP4.com.
Video Game and Blog Content?
I, Ethan, have always wanted to share my views with others online. I figure the best way to do so is make public online videos and articles which express my views. So I have decided to not only use this website as a place to sell my RAP4 products and start a paintball/airsoft community, but to also talk about the things I enjoy and share my views with my users.
Because gaming has become a hobby of mine, I have decided to make Game Initiation a site that is also for console based gamers. Our content will range from news, to reviews, to hosting our own clans and tournaments. Currently our content is centered around the Xbox 360 - Xbox Live platforms. WhileI plan on adding Playstation 3 content in the future, when this will happen is currently unknown. I have decided to start my own public clan for people to join in and participate in. The clan is more of a site feature as anyone can join in. The clan will also feature free tournaments and contests where you can win/earn prizes. I have always respected my viewers and readers and would love to give back in some way, so this is why I decided to do this.
Our Goal:
Our goal is to offer users a place to express themselves in an open well moderated community and enjoy the game(s) they love. Here, every one will be equal and receive the same treatment from our users and staff members and if there is ever a problem we will do our best to help make it right.
